Maple Leaf® Natural Selections® Turkey & Cucumber Rolls

Think beyond a sandwich and use veggies to wrap these rolls to add an extra hit of goodness in the lunchbox. This will be an idea they never get bored of especially if you switch up the fillings.
Ingredients

6 slices Maple Leaf® Natural Selections® Oven Roasted Turkey Breast

1 cucumber

3 slices natural cheese (we recommend cheddar, but whichever is your child’s favourite will work!)

4 ounces tzatziki spread for dipping

Optional: Pretzel Sticks, Baby Carrots, Red Pepper, Cherry Tomatoes

Directions

Using a vegetable peeler, peel the cucumber into thin sliced strips.

Slice Maple Leaf® Natural Selections® Oven Roasted Turkey Breast into thin sliced strips, the width of your cucumber slices.

Slice cheese into ¾ inch sliced strips or based on the size of the cucumber used

Layer one slice of Turkey Breast, folded in half, and two cheese slices onto cucumber slices.

Roll cucumber and use toothpick in the middle to hold the roll together.

Tip:
If making for small children or to add even more fun, use toothpick to create hole in finished Roll, remove and use Pretzel Stick to hold it together until lunch.

Serving Ideas:
Serve with Tzatziki Yogurt Spread for dipping and your kid’s favourite veggies to round out this nutrient packed lunch.
