    • Maple Leaf® wieners or sausages
    • Wooden skewers
    • Cooking oil spray
    • Hot dog buns, toasted
    • Toppings of choice
  1. Preheat the grill to medium (400–450°F).
  2. Insert a skewer through the centre of each wiener. Using a small knife, cut on a slight angle while rotating to create a spiral. Remove skewer.
  3. Lightly spray with oil. Grill 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until heated through and lightly charred.
  4. Lightly toast buns on the grill for 30–60 seconds.
  5. Place in buns and load up with your favourite world-inspired toppings.
    Best served with a hot dog bun.

  • 4Maple Leaf Original Chicken Sausages, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 3bell peppers (any mix of colours), thinly sliced
  • 2tablespoons olive oil
  • 1teaspoon chili powder
  • 1teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

    • ½ teaspoon salt

    ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the bell peppers and onion. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle in the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the vegetable mixture out onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer to ensure even roasting. Place in the oven to bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove baking sheet form oven and move the veggies to one side. To the other side add the sliced chicken sausages. Return to oven and roast for an additional 20 minutes or until sausages are golden and veggies are soft.
  5. While the sheet pan is in the oven, prepare your rice or grain of choice according to package instructions.
  6. Once everything is cooked, assemble your bowls by adding a base of rice, then topping with the roasted sausage and vegetable mixture.
  7. Finish with your preferred toppings such as avocado, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, or fresh cilantro. Serve warm.

  1. Add about 1 tsp of salt directly to the dry chopped cabbage and mix thoroughly. Let rest for 15 minutes until water is pulled out and squeeze out as much water from the cabbage as possible.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, drained cabbage, scallions, cilantro, soy sauce, grated garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place 1/2 tbsp of filling in the center of each wrapper. Wet two adjacent sides of your wrapper with water, then fold over and seal.
  4. Boil water in a pot and place the wontons for 3-4 minutes on a high simmer until the dumplings float.
  5. Drain and serve hot.
