  • 8pcs Maple Leaf Prime® Raised without Antibiotics Boneless Skinless Thighs, diced.
  • 150g Raw cashew
  • 1Green Bell pepper, diced.
  • 1Red Bell pepper, diced.
  • 1Medium Red Onion, diced.
  • 3cloves Garlic, minced.
  • 3Tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 3Tbsp Hoisin sauce
  • 1Cup Chicken Stock
  • ½Tsp Cornstarch
  • 2Tbsp Rice wine vinegar
  • 2Scallions, Chopped
  • 2Tbsp water
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  1. In a wok heat 3 tablespoons of Oil. Add cashews and cook for 3-4 minutes. Keep stirring continuously for even browning.
  2. Using a slotted spoon, remove cashew from the wok draining excess oil. Keep the cashews aside.
  3. Add minced garlic to the wok and cook until the garlic is aromatic.
  4. Sprinkle the diced chicken with half the cornstarch and pepper well and add the coated chicken thighs to the hot wok and cook until golden brown. Using a slotted spoon, remove the chicken and keep it together
    with the cashew.
  5. Combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, wine vinegar and chicken stock in the wok and add the diced vegetables and sauté on high heat for 1 minute.
  6. Add the chicken and cashew and cook for another 1 minute. Mix the remaining cornstarch with water to make slurry and add to the cooking mixture.
  7. Cook for another 1 minute until the sauce has thickened and coats the chicken.
  8. Season and Garnish with chopped scallions and serve hot.

  • 1375g package of Maple Leaf Original Bacon, ¾ inch diced
  • 10medium eggs
  • 2Russet potatoes, peeled, halved and sliced.
  • 3tbsp Olive oil
  • 1medium white onion, sliced.
  • ½tsp paprika
  • 2Scallions, chopped.
  • ½tsp Salt.
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Cook bacon until just crisp, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  3. Using a slotted spoon remove onto a paper towel lined plate and keep warm. Dice them once cooled and keep aside.
  4. In a big bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, and paprika and set aside.
  5. Heat the olive oil in the skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Sauté Onion and potato for 10 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  7. Turn the oven broiler on.
  8. Pour in the egg mixture, and gently press to even out the top. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook until the edges of the omelet begin to firm up, then put the pan under the broiler to finish cooking. Broil for about 5 minutes until the eggs are cooked through and the top of the omelet browns slightly.
  9. Remove from the broiler and finish with chopped scallions and bacon.
  10. Serve hot.

    Dumpling Filling

  • 1(175g pkg) Maple Leaf ® Natural Selections® Baked Ham, diced into small pieces
  • 1pkg dumpling dough, prepared
  • ½cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Meat Sauce

  • 1(375g pkg) Maple Leaf® Natural Original Smoked Sausage
  • 1medium onion, diced
  • ½cup tomato sauce, prepared
  • 1clove garlic, crushed
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Parsley – for garnish

Meat Sauce

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the onions and garlic until just softened, about 3 minutes.
  2. Add sausage to the mixture and break into crumbs. Add tomato sauce and stir frequently for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and remove from heat. Allow to cool slightly.

Dumpling Filling

  1. In a large bowl mix diced ham and cheese together.
  2. Place two teaspoons of the cheese and ham filling in the center of the prepared dumpling circles and fold one side of the dough over the filling to form a half circle. Seal them by pressing the edges together with your fingers or a fork and place on a lightly floured baking sheet. Repeat this process with the remaining dough until all the filling is used.
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Carefully drop the dumplings into the pot and gently stir to prevent them from sticking. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until they float to the top.
  4. Remove the cooked dumplings and put them in a colander to drain.
  5. Serve with meat sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley.

  • 1cup yellow saffron rice
  • 2cups chicken stock
  • 1Spanish onion, sliced
  • 1medium red pepper, sliced
  • 1389 ml can diced tomato with juices
  • 1tsp smoked paprika
  • 1cup frozen peas, thawed
  • ½tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Parsley – optional
  • Lemon – optional
  1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Brown chicken about 3 to 4 minutes per side and remove onto a platter. Remove all but 2 tbsp of rendered fat from skillet.
  2. Add peppers, onions and sausage to skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until browned.
  3. Add garlic, paprika and rice and cook 1 minute longer stirring well to coat.
  4. Add tomatoes, chicken stock and peas and mix well. Add chicken back to pan and cover with a tight fitting lid.
  5. Cook for 50 minutes or until rice is cooked through and chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
  6. Allow paella to stand for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley and lemon if using.

  • 4corn cobbs, grilled and buttered
  • ½cup + 4 tbsp Jerk Chicken BBQ sauce, prepared

  • 1cup long grain rice, rinsed
  • 1cup black beans, rinsed
  • 1clove garlic, minced
  • 1⅓cup chicken stock
  • 1cup coconut milk
  • Salt

  • Salad:
  • 6cups head lettuce, chopped
  • 8cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 3tbsp olive oil
  • tbsp honey
  • tbsp honey
  • Juice of half a lime
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4rings pineapple grilled – optional
  1. Heat grill to medium high heat.
  2. Place chicken in a large bowl and toss with BBQ sauce.
  3. Grill chicken for 6 to 8 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached. Set aside and keep warm.
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
  5. Add rice and cook for 1 minute longer. Pour in chicken stock, coconut milk and beans. Stir well and close skillet with a tight fitting lid. Cook for about 20 to 25 minutes until rice is cooked through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with onions.
  7. Place lettuce and tomato in a large bowl.
  8. Mix olive oil, honey and lime juice in small bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Pour dressing over salad and toss well to coat.
  9. Serve chicken with rice, salad and pineapple if using.

  • 2Maple Leaf Prime RWA Boneless Skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 1heaping cup multicolored peppers, thinly sliced
  • ½cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 2tbsp vegetable oil, divided
  • 1tbsp chili powder
  • 2cups tex mex cheese, shredded
  • 8corn tostada, prepared
  • Juice ½ lime
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1large avocado, diced
  • Sour cream optional
  • Salsa optional
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Place chicken in a large bowl and add half the vegetable oil, chili powder and lime juice. Toss well to coat.
  3. Heat remaining oil in a large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add chicken and cook for 2 minutes turning frequently until starting to brown.
  4. Add onions and peppers and cook for 3 to 4 minutes more until vegetables have started to soften and caramelize and chicken is cooked through. Remove from heat and keep warm.
  5. Arrange tostadas side by side onto prepared baking sheet and divide and sprinkle cheese evenly over top. Place onto center rack of oven for about 2 minutes until cheese has just melted and remove from oven.
  6. Assemble tostada by dividing warm fajita mix onto each tostada followed by diced avocado and top with salsa and sour cream if using. Serve immediately.

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 
  2. Combine smoked paprika, cumin, salt, pepper and chili flakes if using. 
  3. Place chicken onto a large baking sheet. Drizzle with 2 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp of honey and the garlic. Squeeze 1 half of the lemon wedge over chicken and sprinkle seasoning over top. Toss well to coat.
  4. Place sweet potatoes in a large bowl and pour remaining olive oil over top. Sprinkle in sesame seeds and season with salt and pepper. Toss well to coat. Arrange potatoes around the chicken breast on sheet pan. 
  5. Place on center rack of oven for 30 to 35 minutes, turning potatoes half-way. Chicken should reach a temperature of 165 degrees and potatoes should be golden and caramelized. 
  6. Place lettuce and sundried tomatoes with oil in a large bowl. Squeeze remaining lemon over top and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat well.
  7. Assemble meal by dividing and spreading hummus onto center of plate. Slice chicken and place over top. Spoon potatoes onto plate followed by salad. Sprinkle feta over top. Garnish with dill if using. Serve immediately.

  • 6medium yellow potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed and kept warm
  • 2cups cabbage, sliced
  • 1small onion, sliced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ¼cup cream
  • ¼tsp fresh cracked black pepper

  1. Cook bacon in a large non-stick pan until crispy. Using a slotted spoon remove onto a paper towel lined plate. Pour out all but 1 tbsp of bacon drippings from pan.
  2. Heat drippings over medium-high heat and add cabbage and onions. Stir occasionally for about 5 minutes until vegetables have softened and have started to brown.
  3. Pour cream and add butter to a large pot and gently heat until warmed through. Add mashed potatoes, vegetable mixture and all but 3 tbsp of cooked bacon. Mix well with a rubber spatula.
  4. Season to taste. Spoon potatoes onto a serving platter and top with reserved bacon.

  • 480gshrimp, tails removed
  • 450grice noodles, prepared and warmed
  • 1tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1medium shallot, thinly sliced
  • 1tbsp garlic, minced
  • 2medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1cup carrot, shredded
  • 1 ½cup cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1tbsp sesame oil
  • 2tbsp cilantro, minced
  • ¼cup green onion, sliced + extra for garnish
  • Lime, cut into quarters
  • Crispy wontons, prepared – optional

  • Sauce:

  • 1tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2tbsp mild yellow curry powder
  • tsp turmeric
  • 2tbsp light soya sauce
  • ½cup oyster sauce
  • 1tbsp sriracha sauce
  1. In a large bowl mix vinegar with curry powder and turmeric until combined. Add soya sauce, oyster sauce and sriracha. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add chicken and shrimp and allow to sear for about 2 to 3 minutes. Chicken and Shrimp should be browning and golden. Add shallot and garlic and stir frequently for about 1 to 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, carrot and cabbage. Cook for about another 3 minutes stirring occasionally. Pour in sauce and stir well to coat. Let simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile in a large microwave bowl toss rice noodles with sesame oil, cilantro and green onion.
  4. Heat in microwave to desired temperature. Place noodles onto a serving dish and spoon chicken and shrimp mixture over top. Squeeze with lime and sprinkle extra green onion over top. Garnish with crispy wontons. Serve immediately.
